Cacao has a rich history dating back to ancient civilizations like the Maya and Aztecs, who revered it as a powerful plant spirit which they used in everyday life - from ceremonies to mending broken relationships to guidance around farming their land. Today cacao is still celebrated for her beautiful heart opening qualities and her ability to guide our spirits to higher levels of compassion and oneness Cacao contains various beneficial compounds like theobromine, which is a mild stimulant, and anandamide, a neurotransmitter which is associated with feelings of bliss. Drinking cacao can boost mood, focus, and creativity.

Las Victorias is a region from close to the coast. This farm has been in the family for over 50 years. They grow completely organic and this source we can say is 100% single origin (not a collective like two of our other regions.)

Creating the perfect cup:

One serving is anywhere from 15-45g

Cleanse your space and tools with sacred smoke

Using hot water (not boiling) or your choice of plant milk, mix your desired amount of cacao into a cup or blender.

Add your choice of spices such as cinnamon, cayenne, ginger, tahini, coconut oil, nutmeg, salt (all are optional)

Maple syrup, honey or dates to taste

Blend until smooth

Top with rose petals for an extra layer of love

Add your mushrooms (micro or macro) if wanting a deep experience with both medicines.
